About Ozzy

Osvaldo (Ozzy) Diaz
Attorney at Law | Melbourne, FL Barry University School of Law, J.D. '18 · UCF, BSBA '13 Former Public Defender · Former Civil Associate, Brevard County
Attorney Ozzy Diaz has built his career on a simple but powerful belief — that every person who walks through his door deserves the same level of dedication, preparation, and fight that any high-profile client would expect. That commitment has defined his practice since day one, and it shows in every case he takes on.
Ozzy earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2018 and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in 2013. But his real education came from something most attorneys never experience — working on both sides of Florida's legal system before ever opening his own practice.
Before entering private practice, Ozzy served as a public defender, standing up for individuals who needed a voice in the criminal justice system. He then went on to work as a civil associate at one of Brevard County's largest civil law firms, where he gained firsthand insight into how large institutions approach litigation, negotiate disputes, and build their cases. That rare dual perspective — criminal and civil, defense and prosecution, individual and institution — gives Attorney Diaz a strategic advantage that most attorneys simply don't have.
Today, Ozzy brings that experience to bear for clients across Brevard County, Indian River County, and the State of Florida. His criminal defense practice covers the full spectrum — from DUI and domestic violence charges to drug offenses, theft, assault, and white-collar crimes. On the civil side, he has a proven track record handling real estate law, breach of contract, business disputes, HOA and commercial tenancy issues, and more. He also helps individuals and families with traffic citations and estate planning, including wills and trusts.
What sets Ozzy apart isn't just his courtroom experience — it's how he handles the relationship with every client. He believes that trust and open communication are the foundation of effective legal representation. When you work with The Law Office of Ozzy Diaz, you work directly with Ozzy. You'll always know where your case stands, what your options are, and what to expect next.
The legal system can be intimidating. Attorney Diaz's job is to make sure it doesn't have to be. When you choose Ozzy Diaz, you're choosing an attorney who has been in the trenches, knows how the other side thinks, and is fully committed to fighting for the best possible outcome — for you.
